client base and a strong order book they now seek to recruit a talented,
motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join their established Design
Team. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in the

Role and Responsibilities: -

Working under the Design Manager to produce
electrical design drawings and calculations.
-
Site co-ordination including liaison with
different trades.
-
Providing technical support to our Contract’s
teams.
-
Conduct site surveys and reports.
-
Work closely with the contracts team to ensure
project delivery.
-
Undertake other duties and responsibilities
relevant to the team / post.
Applicants must possess the following: -
-
Hold a Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Building
Services Engineering & HND Electrical/Electronic engineering.

Knowledge in the use of Autodesk software to
include AutoCAD
-
Experience in Microsoft Office packages,
Including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
-
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
-
Ability to meet deadlines and work calmly under
pressure.
-
Ability to work flexibly, self-motivate, be able
to take ownership and act on own initiative.
-
Excellent organisational skills with the ability
to co-ordinate activities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria: -
-
Experience working in the construction industry.
-
Familiar with software packages such as Amtech,
Dialux & Simaris.
-
Knowledge of Autodesk Revit 2018/19 & Navis
Works.
-
Understanding BIM & it’s uses.
-
Awareness of BS 7671, BS EN PAS 1192 & City
and guilds 18th Edition.
-
Understand the importance of Health & Safety
procedures and CDM responsibilities.
Attractive starting salary, negotiable depending on
experience. Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, 4pm finish on Friday (1 hour
