My client is a leading electrical contractor with over 30
years’ experience in successfully delivering major projects in various sectors
throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Building on their well-earned reputation, a prestigious
client base and a strong order book they have created a new role and now seek
to appoint a Quality Manager. In this exciting and rewarding role you
will deliver best practice ensuring clients requirements and expectations are
met.
Role and Responsibilities: -

You will have responsibility for reviewing
quality on projects, detailing work standards and expectations.

Carry out an in depth and robust programme of
on-site inspections and auditing across all aspects of electrical design and
installation.

Provide quality related training to help bring
staff up to expected company standards.

Work positively with colleagues, contractors and
all stakeholders to deliver best in class quality and legal compliance.

Working very closely with site-based teams your
core tasks will be to provide the frameworks, awareness and standard operating
procedures.

Together with Test Engineer inspections you will
support Site / Operations Managers to put quality compliance at the centre of
their daily operations.
Applicants must possess the following competences:
-
Formal qualifications in Electrics or
Engineering
-
Strong, proven quality assurance management
experience, ideally in construction services.

Passionate about quality with a record of
success and credibility.
-
Able to assume responsibility and leadership and
organised to handle multiple issues and to calmly solve problems.
-
Take decisions in a challenging, fast-paced,
deadline-based environment.
-
Be self-motivated and able to work on one’s own
initiative.
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
to lead, build positive relationships and influence with colleagues and
sub-contractors.

Attentive to detail with proven report writing
skills.

A team player, very client-driven with a
willingness to be available as required and to go the extra mile to deliver a
superior service.

Experience of Microsoft Office packages,
including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and SharePoint.

Hold a current Driving Licence and be willing to
travel to client sites across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Attractive starting salary on offer, negotiable depending on
experience. Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, 4pm finish on Friday (1 hour
