My client is a leading electrical contractor with over 30
years’ experience in successfully delivering major projects in various sectors
throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.

client base and a strong order book they now seek to recruit an additional Inspection
and Testing Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity

Role and Responsibilities: -

Part of the team that ensures all electrical works
under your remit has been installed to a standard that satisfies all relevant
regulations.

Ensure all work carried out on site is conducted
in line with legal requirements of Health and Safety, and to strict company
quality standards.

Responsible for ensuring collated inspection and
test results are satisfactory and in line with BS7671 and any other appropriate
standards/regulations.

Ensure everything is recorded professionally on
the appropriate certificates or other documents as required.

Preparation of snagging lists.
Applicants must possess the following competences:
-
City & Guilds 2357 NVQ Level 3 in Electrical
Installation.

18th Edition IET Regulations BS7671.
-
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
-
Inspection & Testing experience, covering
various projects.
-
Computer literate.
-
Reliable, flexible, able to take responsibility
and act on own initiative.
-
Attention to detail, able to identify risks and
to solve problems.
-
Able to communicate effectively at all levels as
part of a team.
-
Organised and able to work unsupervised in a
fast-paced environment to agreed deadlines.
-
Hold a current Driving Licence and be willing to
travel to client sites across the UK and Europe and to work additional hours
when needed.
Attractive hourly rate, negotiable depending on experience. Minimum
40 hour week (additional hours available). 28 Days Holiday, Pension, Private Healthcare,
