Family Support Worker

Market Leading Keenan Recruitment is building a waiting list for experienced Family Support Workers to work in Community Social Care Services across the Southern Trust.

Locations include:

-Armagh

-Dungannon

-Portadown

-Newry

Initial 1 - 3 month contracts available. Salary set at £12.86ph; mileage 0.56p per mile.

JOB SUMMARY

The Social Work Assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting social work managers in the provision of quality social work services to children and families. He/She will work within a Children’s Services Team and will undertake tasks allocated by the Social Work Team Manager to support social workers in the discharge of their duties. The Social Work Assistant will also be expected to ensure continuing professional development through training, supervision and learning in line with NISCC registration requirements.

CRITERIA

You must be live on the NISCC register
You will be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI police check through Keenan.
You will have a minimum of 6 months children's services experience gained in the last 2 years
