Dennison Commercials Ltd is the sole Volvo Truck & Bus dealer and the leading provider of heavy commercial vehicles in Northern Ireland. We are currently seeking Apprentice Bodyshop Technicians at our Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop based in Ballyclare.
Job Role
The successful candidates will work within our specialist Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop, supported by a professional Apprenticeship Programme.
Working within the team you will assist and learn from our qualified technicians in carrying out:
- Repair and replacement of damaged bodywork panels
- Smoothing out minor dents
- Prepping repairs for painting
- Assisting with priming and spray painting and colour matching
Whilst most of your time is spent working at Dennison Bodyshop gaining experience with on-the-job training, you will also spend 3-4 days per month attending Riverpark Training & Development Centre in Mallusk. This is the only training provider in Northern Ireland that trains solely for the crash repair side of the motor industry.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths, English and preferably also ICT
- A reasonable understanding of the Microsoft Office package
A background that would enable you to relate motor vehicle knowledge to customer requirements would be advantageous.

Training
3-4 days per month at Riverpark Training & Development Centre to achieve:
- VCQ Levels 2 & 3 in Vehicle Body and Paint Operation Body Repair
