Our client is a highly respected, professional and growing specialist
construction company within the residential, new build and home extensions
sectors.
Due to an upcoming prestigious private residential development within
the Mallusk – Newtownabbey area, they wish to recruit an experienced,
professional and conscientious Site Foreperson to take responsibility for the
day to day running of the site.
Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will look after;
THE ROLE
·
Plan,
organise and manage the on-site team daily ensuring all tasks are carried out
to the highest professional standard.
·
Attend
regular site meetings with the Director and Client as required.
·
Take
responsibility and oversee all on site health and safety and employee welfare.
·
Make sure
all equipment, tools, machinery etc are properly maintained and secured.
·
Work
closely with suppliers ensuring materials are always available as required.
·
Manage and
co-ordinate additional tradespeople and ensure all work is completed to the
required standard.
·
Keep
accurate records and paperwork.
Ensure project is delivered on
schedule and in accordance with the project programme
Work closely with
subcontractors to ensure they are available as required
·
THE PERSON
·
A minimum
of 4-5 years as a Site Foreperson to include recent experience of delivering
housing developments.
·
Some
joinery experience would be desirable but not essential.
·
The ability
to deliver projects to agreed deadlines.
·
Excellent
people management and skills.
·
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
·
IT literate.
·
Good
organisational and paperwork/documentation skills.
·
Highly professional and takes pride in delivering
projects to a high standard.
SALARY
A salary of £40k - £45k (depending on experience) will be on offer to the
successful candidate.
