Qualified Accountant/Assistant Accountant.
Our client is looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant/Assistant
Accountant to work in practice in North Down.
The Role:
· Overseeing all aspects of client service delivery,
including preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping,
VAT, etc and value-added services assignments.
· Preparing working papers, annual accounts and tax returns
for sole traders and owner managed SMEs.
· Overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts for SME
clients.
· Overseeing the production of corporation tax returns.
· Liaising with clients on accounts and tax issues as
required.
· Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
· Delegation of duties and support to junior team member
support business planning.
The Person:
ACA/ACCA level qualified or qualified by experience within a
general public practice setting
3 years of experience working within an accountancy firm,
preferred but not essential as full training will be given
Familiarity with various computer and accounting software such
as Quick-books and Xero.
·Up to date tax and financial regulations.
Good communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and a
good attention to detail
Experience of payroll processing would be desirable but not
essential.
Good oral/written English skills.
Salary: Salary is reflective of experience and incorporates additional
