Depot/Yard Manager

Warehouse/Depot Manager

Location: Newry
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

We are seeking a proactive and organised Warehouse/Depot Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and stock control within our Newry depot. This role involves managing warehouse functions, including inventory handling and site logistics. In addition, you will support the Build Manager by helping to record and assess on-site work completion. Full training will be provided for this aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities

Depot & Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised yard and warehouse area

• Sign for and scan deliveries into the ERP system, and run transfer reports

• Manage timely and accurate correspondence for confirming or disputing deliveries

• Oversee inventory tracking, including detailed record-keeping and regular audits

• Prepare orders and materials for sub-contractor collection

• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies or wastage

Site Support & Work Assessment

• Collaborate with the Build Manager to help record and assess on-site work completion (no prior knowledge required – full training provided)

• Use desktop systems to perform daily checks on site work and assess overall quality

• Provide structured feedback to subcontractors regarding work status and standards

• This position offers a mix of warehouse-based duties and support for on-site project tracking. It's ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in staying organised and detail-oriented.
