Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team and oversee the delivery of the prestigious major Passivhaus capital project in Enniskillen - the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are met on a landmark project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement the Quality Assurance Plan, ensuring all aspects of the project meet Passivhaus principles and GRAHAM’s quality standards.
- Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to construction regulations and client specification supporting the Project Team.
- Documentation Management: Maintain detailed records, including inspection reports, certifications, and compliance documents, ensuring all processes and activities are accurately documented in line with Passivhaus standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement, implement corrective actions, and ensure lessons learned are applied.
- Collaboration: Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to promote a culture of quality and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Training & Guidance: Provide quality-related training and support to the site team to ensure best practices are understood and followed.
- Reporting: Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively address quality-related issues, finding practical and efficient solutions.
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in a Quality Management role, ideally on large-scale (£50M+) construction projects.
- Strong understanding of Passivhaus principles, energy-efficient construction techniques, and sustainability standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction regulations and quality standards.
- Highly skilled in documentation and record-keeping, with a proficiency in IT systems.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence and promote a quality-focused culture.
Desirable Criteria:
- Site Management background with ability to demonstrate focus on managing detail and quality.
- Previous experience on public-sector projects.
- Qualifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or similar.
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., CIQA or CIOB).
- Experience with Passivhaus verification or certification processes.
