Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to forecast stock requirements and place orders with suppliers - we are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Controller to join our team. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring stock availability at all times, and maintaining accurate records.

• • Stock control – expediting of orders
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels to meet business demands
  • Carry out regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy
  • Track inventory movements and investigate discrepancies
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding deliveries and stock issues
  • Maintain accurate records using inventory management software or spreadsheets
  • Ensure goods are stored safely and in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Prepare reports on stock levels, wastage, and trends for management
  • Assist with incoming deliveries and stock rotation
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to fulfil customer or production orders
  • Managing quarantine stock

The Ideal Person:

The ideal candidate must have:

• Experience in similar role
• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or a warehouse environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or inventory management systems
