Solutions Architect (EUC)

Our client, a globally recognised company, working within multiple other areas of technology are looking for a Solution Architect. You will work closely with the Chief Architect to lead and deliver large managed service projects, primarily within clinical environments. The role involves overseeing service transition and integration of solutions to ensure up time for critical clinical services.

This salary on the role can go up to £90K and it will require 1 day week in office (Belfast). (Potentially once a month onsite with the client in Dublin)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the transition and rollout of End User Compute (EUC) services from legacy systems to managed services platforms.
• Design and integrate EUC environments into broader infrastructures in collaboration with business and application architects.
• Manage endpoint and application integration projects, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, 3rd parties, and teams to deliver large-scale, client-facing programs.
• Provide technical leadership, ensuring successful service integration, change management, and project delivery.
• Lead RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, and handle client-facing consultancy.
• Chair meetings and report progress, escalating issues and ensuring decisions are made promptly.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience as a Solution Architect in an enterprise setting.
• Expertise in translating complex requirements into solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of EUC design and technologies such as Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft SCCM, M365 InTune, Microsoft Operating Systems, Printer Management, and security protocols.
• Experience in managing service integration, particularly in large managed service environments.
• Proficient in creating high- and low-level designs and providing leadership during implementation.
• Strong client-facing skills and experience in managing third-party relationships and negotiations.
• Ability to create project plans, manage change, and operation solutions.
