Logistics & Continuous Improvement Manager (Inventory)

Vanrath are delighted to be working with a Global Manufacturing company based in Larne to recruit a Warehouse, Logistics & Inventory Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will;

• Oversee and optimise material flow processes—both physical and system-based—to support a customer-focused service model. Ensure procedures and ways of working consistently deliver year-on-year improvements, addressing any deviations promptly and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
• Apply advanced expertise to proactively identify, analyse, and resolve material-related issues in line with business objectives and operational needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of goods-in and despatch activities to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. Manage despatch operations to reduce lead times and inventory levels, while driving continuous improvement year-on-year.
• Work closely with Procurement and Production Planning teams to improve the efficiency of material supply, maintain appropriate safety stock levels, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across processes, procedures, and people—internally and externally. Encourage cross-functional collaboration to drive cost savings and service enhancements, while delivering and sustaining a robust perpetual inventory management process.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years inventory management (including logistics) experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of warehousing and inventory management techniques
