Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)
Location: Craigavon, County Armagh, Northern Ireland
Hourly Rate: £48K – £52,416
Contract: Permanent, full?time

MCS Group is proud to be working for a large-scale food manufacturer based in County Armagh to recruit multiple multi-skilled maintenance engineers to join their ever-growing team.

Your Role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will provide electrical, mechanical and instrumentation support, ensuring the plant runs safely and efficiently. You will:

• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance in line with SAP PM and site procedures
• Monitor plant performance and implement corrective actions to maintain uptime
• Perform Point?of?Work risk assessments and adhere to SOPs and safe working practices
• Update the asset register and maintenance records via tablet device
• Participate in 5?Why root?cause analyses following breakdowns or deviations
• Hand over work effectively at shift changes and communicate with all stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site

About You

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Mechatronics
• Recent maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong cross?trade skills and a flexible, multi?skilled approach
• Proven problem?solving ability with logical fault?finding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces and under pressure
