PT Assistant
Duty Officer – Lisburn – Temporary Contract – 6 months
The role is to ensure the
smooth running of events at LVI (theatre and conferencing) and provide
Facilities Management (with stakeholders in security, cleaning and
catering) cover on site.
Undertaking opening
and closing procedures of the venue, room setups, meeting clients, ensuring
H&S regulations are adhered too,etc.
Full training and
completion of shadow shifts will be provided prior to undertaking solo shifts.
Available shifts will be offered on a monthly
basis, example of some shifts that can be offered are as follows:
MAY: Saturday 10th -1700hrs
Sunday 11th -1900hrs Saturday 17th 1630-2230hrs
Friday
23rd 1500-2300hrs Sunday 25th -1500hrs
JUNE: Saturday 7th 1600-22hrs
Saturday 14th 1600-1930hrs Sunday 22nd -1530hrs
Sunday
22nd 1500-2200hrs Saturday 28th -1200hrs Saturday 28th
1515-2000hrs
Sunday
29th -1900hrs
It
is essential that applicants have a minimum of:
1. Two A’ Levels
AND
At least two years in a leisure/conference/hospitality/public service
venue, to include:
One years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- A working
knowledge of health and safety including undertaking risk assessments.
- Completion of
written reports.
- Co-ordination of
events/functions set up.
- Working knowledge
of Microsoft computer packages.
- Cash
reconciliation.
- Delivering
customer expectations
Where
applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined in 1 above, they must
demonstrate a minimum of 4 years’ experience as above.
Knowledge:
An understanding of the workings of
local government and the wider environment and political context in which it
operates.
General:
1. A full current driving license valid in the
UK and access to a car, or
Have
access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the
post[i]
