Junior/Mid Data Specialist (SAP/ERP)

MCS Group is seeking a driven Business Data Specialist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that operates at the forefront of its sector. About the Role

As Business Data Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in managing, creating, and maintaining master data used across critical business platforms, particularly within SAP systems. Working closely with various departments, you’ll help ensure that business processes are powered by reliable and high-quality information, supporting operational efficiency and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance data accuracy across systems, primarily SAP.

• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve data issues and implement corrective actions.

• Support specification creation and updates, and manage data requests across business functions.

• Participate in cross-functional projects involving data analysis, reporting, and system development.

• Facilitate data transfers and change requests between departments and locations.

• Contribute to ongoing data cleansing and standardisation efforts.

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Knowledge of working with business data in enterprise systems; familiarity with SAP is highly advantageous.

• Education: An Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a business or data-related discipline.

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to data governance.

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
