VANRATH are recruiting on behalf of one of Ireland's fastest growing tech companies, we are seeking a Sales and Marketing Operations Manager to add to the team, this is a contract position to cover maternity cover - the position will be a minimum of 12 months (may stretch up to 15). You will have 2 direct reports as part of this role.

The Role

Marketing Data & Insights

  • Partner with leadership to shape data-driven marketing strategies.

  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and performance reports.

  • Track deal sources and key KPIs to inform strategic decisions.

  • Deliver monthly insights on marketing performance and customer journey trends.

  • Prepare data for quarterly business reviews and ad-hoc analysis.

  • Provide CRM support specific to marketing operations.

Sales Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain and monitor target account databases.

  • Use data insights to support sales target planning and forecasting.

  • Be the go-to contact for sales and business development data needs.

  • Generate and manage regular sales performance reports and KPIs.

  • Produce board-level reports and oversee dashboard performance.

  • Deliver custom reports on pipeline activity, forecasting, and product performance.

  • Update and refine sales and business development playbooks.

CRM Management & Process Optimisation

  • Onboard and support CRM users, ensuring adoption and accuracy.

  • Manage CRM user permissions, billing, and system integrity.

  • Own and improve CRM workflows across the commercial process.

  • Assign inbound leads and maintain automated data routing.

  • Oversee deal pipelines and ensure alignment with team workflows.

  • Build and refine automated alerts and workflow notifications.

  • Support complex sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) and forecasting models.

  • Lead data quality initiatives and enrichment projects across the CRM.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing Operations, market research, or a similar analytical role.
  • Proven experience with managing a CRM platform and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for strategic decision making.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement.
  • Experience in people management and mentoring, you will have 2 direct reports.
