This reputable company specialises in delivering geotechnical, geophysical, and environmental solutions across diverse sectors, including civil engineering, renewable energy, rail, marine, and contaminated land. Their expertise ranges from designing foundations for towering structures to environmental restoration, prioritising safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Their projects span both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Your new role
A need arises for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our client’s established team. The main role would be to project manage and report on geotechnical, geo-environmental and geophysical investigations on behalf of the company.
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will:
•Conduct site investigations and analyse soil, rock, and groundwater conditions.•Develop geotechnical designs and reports.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutions.
•Utilise cutting-edge technology to model and solve geotechnical challenges.
•Contribute to projects that have a lasting impact on communities and the environment.
What you'll need to succeed
Seeking a Geotechnical Engineering candidate with:
- Demonstrated experience in UK ground investigations, including expertise in soil and rock logging, fieldwork, and site supervision.
- A degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- A proactive, communicative team player who can work independently.
- A valid full UK driving licence.
- Desirable skills include familiarity with engineering geology principles and proficiency in AutoCAD drawing techniques.
