Network Project Engineer

MCS Group is proud to partner with a rapidly growing company seeking an experienced Network Deployment Engineer to join their dynamic team. Role Details:

• Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)
• Location: Belfast office
• Working Arrangement: On-site, 5 days per week
• Progression opportunity to move into a leadership, or more technical role in the future

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert 3rd Line Network support and manage project implementations for a range of clients.
• Deliver on-site and hardware support on the UK mainland (travel is infrequent).
• Work with Aruba, Cisco, HP, and Dell network devices, demonstrating strong expertise in networking technologies.
• Collaborate within a small, supportive, and highly skilled project team.
• Act as a senior point of escalation on the helpdesk when required, and troubleshoot MS Azure, and cloud based issues across a diverse client base

About You:

• Deployment Skills: Capable of setting up small networks independently across both greenfield and brownfield sites or working as part of a larger team for enterprise-level deployments and refreshes.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Network Engineer in a busy internal support environment or MSP setting.
• Other Requirements: A valid driver’s license due to occasional travel requirements.
