Junior Account
Manager – Dungannon – £28-30K
This role combines account management with technical
support, ensuring our products meet customer requirements and regulatory
standards. You will maintain client relationships, assist with sales, and
liaise with internal teams on product quality, compliance, and technical
queries. This position is ideal for candidates with a food industry background
who are looking to develop both commercial and technical expertise
Account Management
Responsibilities:

Assist in managing relationships with existing
clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
·
Support the Senior Account Manager in
identifying and developing new business opportunities.
·
Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and
track delivery schedules.
·
Conduct market research to identify trends and
potential growth areas.
·
Prepare reports, presentations, and sales
forecasts.
·
Attend trade shows and networking events as
required.
·
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Technical
Responsibilities:
·
Act as a point of contact for customers on
technical product queries and specifications.
·
Work closely with the technical and quality
teams to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory
·
requirements.
·
Support the development of product
specifications and ensure accurate documentation for clients.
·
Assist in coordinating customer audits and
handling technical documentation requests.
·
Liaise with production and R&D teams to
support product trials and improvements.
·
Ensure smooth communication between customers
and internal departments regarding technical concerns or product changes.
Experience Required-
·
1-2 years of experience in account management,
customer service, or technical support within the food manufacturing or FMCG
sector.
·
A degree or relevant qualification in Food Science,
Food Technology, Business, or a related field.
·
Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, food
safety standards, and compliance regulations (e.g., BRC, HACCP) is highly
desirable
·
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
and CRM software
Desirable Criteria:

Driving license and/or access to transport or
ability to fulfil any driving requirements of the role
·
Good oral and written communication skills.
·
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and
handle multiple tasks efficiently.
