Quality Assurance Manager (Maternity Cover)
Belfast | £40,000 DOE | 12-Month FTC | Mon–Fri, Days

MCS Group is happy to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned food manufacturer for a Quality Assurance Manager to cover maternity leave from May 2025 – May 2026. This is a hands-on role with full exposure to site-wide quality and compliance processes at a modern, automated facility.

The Role:

• Lead QA activities and manage daily Certificates of Analysis
• Maintain and improve a HACCP-based QMS
• Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, food safety legislation and customer standards
• Prepare for and lead site audits
• Conduct internal audits and support continuous improvement

What You’ll Need:

• QA/Technical experience in food manufacturing
• Proven experience leading site audits
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC and GMP standards
• Degree or equivalent in Food Science or similar
• Strong Excel skills and clear communication
