Project Manager - CCIS and Freedom Project - Derry/ Londonderry (NI222/04/25/1v-1)

Salary: Grade 6 salary scale: £31,732 - £38,807 per annum
Hours: 40 standard hours (including breaks) (Flexibility Required)
Contract Status: Fixed Term until 30th September 2025

About the service:

CCIS- Community Crisis Intervention Service operates from Spencer House in Derry/ Londonderry, outside of normal office hours. Service users experiencing suicidal ideation/ emotional crisis can contact the team directly via phone call or office presentation. Referrals are also accepted from key stakeholders in the area such as Foyle Search and Rescue, PSNI etc. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of staff management and will oversee practice and engage with service users as required. Some out-of-hours work will be included.

Freedom Project- A community development approach forms the basis of the project which collaborates with service users, colleagues, and stakeholders from the locality to develop and deliver cross community prevention and educational programmes, sharing knowledge and understanding diversity across cultures. Freedom aims to strengthen individual and community resilience to mitigate the impact of troubles-related trauma, including the effects of intergenerational trauma. The service is delivered during group sessions and in larger community environments. The Project Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Freedom coordinator to plan, deliver and monitor all aspects of the service.
