Your new role
In this position, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that encompass financial reporting and analysis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts up to trial balance stage, including journals and supporting schedules.
• Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial records under the guidance of the Financial Controller.
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting statutory reports, audits, and Annual Statutory Accounts.
• Managing quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations within UK and Irish jurisdictions.
• Handling revenue reporting, cost analysis, and production performance evaluation.
• Reviewing the TMS system, contributing to annual budgeting, and generating ad hoc senior leadership reports.
• Facilitating business improvement projects, such as implementing new financial systems.

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you should demonstrate:

• Ideally, you will have 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or be in the final stages of completing one.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and a proactive attitude.
• The ability to manage tight deadlines and pay exceptional attention to detail.
