We currently have an opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our maintenance department.
This position offers variety and a broad range of responsibilities including:
· Commissioning, maintaining, fault-diagnosing and modification of automated assembly and production equipment
· Providing support to plant facilities and systems
· Working as part of a multi-skilled team in a high tech environment.
Essential Criteria:
· Educated to ONC in a relevant discipline
· A minimum of 1 years practical experience of fault finding to component level on analogue / digital systems within a manufacturing environment
· A working knowledge of PLCs
· Thorough understanding of electrical circuitry
· Computer literate
· Demonstrate an aptitude for fault finding and problem solving on production type equipment
· Ability to take general directions but work with minimal supervision.
· Good team working and communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
· Educated to HNC standard in relevant discipline or equivalent
· A minimum of 2 years relevant practical experience of fault finding to component level on analogue and digital systems.
