Keenan Rec to Rec is delighted to have been retained by a leading Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Consultancy and Staff Hire Company in Newry, to recruit for a full-time, permanent Recruitment Consultant. Our client is also open to Senior/Principal applications.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a minimum of 2 years proven billing record. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of recruitment processes. While experience in the construction industry is desired, it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates throughout the construction market.
• Develop a thorough understanding of client requirements and culture to ensure the perfect match.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly billing targets.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices and promote a positive team environment.
• Maintain accurate records of candidate and client interactions via recruitment software.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Recruitment Consultant with a strong billing history.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car for client/site visits.
