Overview
MCS Group is proud to be working in partnership with a long-standing and well-respected local law firm in Newtownards, as they seek to recruit an experienced and committed Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with a strong background in residential conveyancing and a working knowledge of wills and probate to thrive in a collaborative, client-first environment.

Key Responsibilities
Residential Conveyancing
Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, and equity transfers.
Private Client Work
Advise clients on wills, powers of attorney, estate planning, and probate, delivering high-quality guidance tailored to individual needs.
Client Relationship Management
Provide an exceptional, personal service with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency across a diverse client base.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all transactions and advice meet legal and regulatory standards, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and detail.
Team Collaboration
Contribute to a close-knit, supportive team culture and assist with mentoring junior colleagues when needed.

Essential Skills & Experience
• Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland (or equivalent jurisdiction)
• All levels of PQE considered
• Practical experience in residential conveyancing, wills, probate, and estate planning
• Strong organisational and file management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a busy workload independently
