MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with one of Northern Ireland’s most well-renowned independent IT, telecoms, and connectivity providers, to recruit a Business Development Manager for their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities across all vertical markets.

  • Sell a wide portfolio of services including Cloud and on-premise voice solutions, mobile, connectivity, Wi-Fi networks, LAN and SD-WAN services.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including negotiations and onboarding.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales pipeline and activity reports.

  • Attend networking events and been an active representative in the marketplace.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally within the IT or telecoms sectors.

  • Proven ability to open and close new business opportunities with a consultative, solutions-focused approach.

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Comfortable managing a varied workload in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
