Buyer (Manufacturing) £32k-£38k

Buyer

Based in the Dungannon area my client is a successful machinery manufacturing company who sells their products to the global market. They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Buyer who has at least 4 year’s experience in a manufacturing environment to purchase raw materials and components for their business. As a Buyer you will be offered a salary of £32,000 - £38,000, pension, healthcare, flexible working hours and an early finish on Fridays.

Role – Buyer

· Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets using an MRP/ERP system.

· Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations

· Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible

· Explore alternate sources for goods and materials

· To give input into the development of appropriate formalised purchasing policies, compliance and procedures across the organisation, educating and supporting other departments within the organisation the importance of adhering to the standards.

· To raise and verify designated invoices for stock, packaging and carriage items.
