MCS Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with this growing public sector organisation, in their search for an Assistant HRBP.
The role:
- Assist with implementing and communicating HR policies.
- Ensure compliance with public sector regulations and legislation.
- Support training needs analysis and program coordination.
- Help evaluate the effectiveness of L&D initiatives.
- Manage employee assistance programs and wellness initiatives.
- Support performance improvement plans and feedback discussions.
- Help resolve grievances and conflicts.
- Assist in disciplinary procedures and ensure compliance with policies.
- Advise managers across the organisation on HR best practices.
- Assist with job descriptions, advertising vacancies, and shortlisting candidates.
- Coordinate interview processes, including scheduling, preparation, and assessments.
- Support reference checks, background screenings, and on boarding for new hires.
The Person:
- Experience in a HR function to include:
- Advisory on best practice to senior management.
- Experience implementing policies and procedures.
- Experience in recruitment and selection.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a public sector organisation
- Experience planning and implementing L&D initiatives
