QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING

· Qualified teacher status

· Have an Honours Degree of at least 2:2 in Religious Education or in which Religious Education is a major component

· 2.1 honours degree

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEGE

· Have a minimum of 1 year experience (excluding teaching practice) of teaching Religious Education to GCSE level in a Post Primary school.

· have at least 3 months experience (excluding teaching practice) of delivering Religious Education to A Level

· be eable to teach other subject(s) at Key Syage 3 and/or Key Stage 4

· be willing to contribute to the extra curricular life of the school
