Quantity Surveyor - Enniskillen - Permanent

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong negotiation and communication skills? Riada are excited to be representing a construction based in Enniskillen that are hiring a new Quantity Surveyor for their organisation.

About the role:

• £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday
• Pension Scheme
• On-site parking
• Permanent role

What you'll be doing in this role:

• Conduct cost estimates and prepare tender documents for construction projects, including material and labour costs, subcontractor quotes, and overhead expenses
  
• Prepare and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations
  
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve cost-related issues and ensure project success
  
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project cost performance, highlighting any deviations from budget or schedule

What you'll need for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Quantity Surveyor role
  
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Professional accreditation or membership with relevant industry bodies (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is preferred
