Systems, Reporting & Information Manager

Rate: £19.21 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Key Duties:

-To be responsible for development, management and use of all electronic systems within the recruitment and selection shared services centre particularly to include the system management for e-recruitment.

-To be responsible for development of concepts / technical solutions to maximise the use of available systems towards supporting the overall delivery of the recruitment selection service to all customers, performance improvement & streamlining of process whilst maintaining quality control.

-To lead on the development and delivery of Reporting and Information which will include, development of reporting capability, development and production of a wide range of management information as well as analysis of information to allow for full understanding of reasons for posts falling outside of KPI which can be used for service improvement.

-To be responsible for ensuring data integrity and quality control of all electronic systems.

-To be responsible for progressing technical solutions within working in partnership with the suppliers, Business Services Team, Information Technology specialists and any related regional working groups.

-To participate as the representative on the regional systems work stream from the Strategic Resourcing Innovation Form (SRIF).

-The post holder will be required to actively participate in all product design arising from this working group.

-To work with supplier representatives to maximise the use of technology within and identify mechanisms for service improvement.

-To actively participate as the representative on the Recruitment & Selection regional Functional Specialist Group.

-Using the information base to collaboratively within the Senior Management Team towards Service Improvement.

-To effectively manage the Systems, Reporting & Information Team.

Information Management

-To be responsible for the development of a full suite of reports which fully support the delivery of business. This will include provision of reports for customers as well as for internal use.

-To be responsible for information analysis across the and across all customers towards identification of reasons for failing to meet KPI’s and in conjunction with other members of the Senior Management Team to participate in the development of appropriate solutions.

-To provide trend analysis on a range of information both for use within and across the wider service, which would inform the strategic agenda.

Quality

-To drive a culture of continuous improvement, with a tight focus on data integrity and an excellent service to all customers.

-To maintain clear audit trails in all actions taken ensuring that lessons learned are appropriately actioned.

Human Resource Management Responsibilities

Essential Criteria:

- A relevant university degree or professional qualification or equivalent / higher qualification

AND

- 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources (any area) role / Recruitment role, including at least one year in a supervisory level role;

-A relevant area will be a core corporate qualification such as HR or Business Management or Information related areas

OR

-A relevant¹ HNC or equivalent / higher qualification, AND 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources (any area) role / Recruitment role, including at least one year in a supervisory level role;

OR

- 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources (any area) role / Recruitment role, including at least one year in a supervisory level role.

- Experience of using a range of IT systems including, as a minimum, the use of MS Excel to create management information.

- A minimum of 1 years’ experience of collating, analysing and presentation of complex Information.

-Experience in staff management / staff supervision.

- Experience in the use of Management Information to guide service delivery.
