We are
pleased to be working on behalf who have an immediate need for an experienced Purchase
Ledger Clerk to join
their join their accounts team.
Key
responsibilities:
·
Maintaining
Accounts Payable inbox.
·
Review and verify invoices.
·
Inputting supplier invoices onto the system.
·
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any
discrepancies.
·
Reconcile company credit cards.
·
Supplier statement reconciliations.
·
Assist in month-end closing activities, including account
reconciliations.
·
Generate reports.
·
Prepare payment run.
Essential
eligibility criteria:
·
Recent experience working as part of a busy finance team.
·
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant or similar
role.
·
Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages.
·
Strong IT Skills - with a high level of expertise in use of
Microsoft Excel.
·
Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload.
·
Strong planning and organising skills.
·
Good numeracy and time management skills.
·
Keen eye for detail.
