Health & Safety Officer (Junior)

MCS Group is delighted to be working with the largest Organic Recycling/Manufacturing company in the UK & Ireland to recruit for a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to join their growing team.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager/General Manager, you will provide support, advice and guidance to the site managers, supervisors and operatives to ensure that health, safety and welfare arrangements are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Continual promotion of Health, Safety and Environmental ethos and culture in all levels of the Company
• Assist with the development, implementation and continual improvement of H&S aspects of the Company’s Integrated Management System
• Development and maintenance of a company wide Health, Safety and Environmental training database
• Ensure all sites are compliant with the Company’s Integrated Management System within all areas through a regular programme of audits
• Assist with the development and delivery of Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Safe Working Procedures for work activities across all sites and continually monitor changes in working procedures and update accordingly.

Full driving license and access to a car as you will be required to travel to multiple NI sites.

Salary circa 27-32K!!
