Part-Time Credit Control Specialist (25-30 hours per week)

What You Do

  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letter in a professional manner.
  • Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment-related queries.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer interactions and payments.
  • Assist in reporting on accounts receivable and outstanding debts.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage timely payments.

About you

  • 2 year's experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage customer relationships.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in accounts management.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and solve problems.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of financial processes, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively.
