Your new role
As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will manage a team in all aspects of manufacturing to produce products that comply with the companies' Quality and Environmental Health and Safety systems. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and planning the smooth running of the department, supervising a team of operators to meet production goals, providing input into systems and procedures, maximising output and efficiency, and ensuring compliance with GMP and customer requirements. You will also be responsible for documentation, cleaning of equipment and facilities, liaising with other departments, and engaging in continuous improvement programs.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree or third-level qualification in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience. Technical experience in a related manufacturing environment is essential. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and train team members, issue and review technical reports, prioritise and meet targets, and have excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft packages is required.
