Principal/Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking Principal Design Engineers – Multiple Locations (Derry/Londonderry, Dungannon, Omagh)

MCS Group is recruiting Principal Design Engineers to lead the development of industry-leading products. In this role, you’ll drive design processes, oversee mechanical and hydraulic system development, support manufacturing, and collaborate with teams to ensure top-tier performance.

The successful candidate:

• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with experience in heavy equipment design
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Pro-Engineer preferred) and Product Data Management systems
• Strong expertise in mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Experience with FEA simulation and design analysis
• Creativity, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation
