VANRATH are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer based in Co. Down, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join their finance team. This role involves managing payroll processes, financial administration, and supporting month-end close procedures for multiple group companies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.

This is a Full Time Permanent position

What you'll do

The Finance Assistant will;

  • Assist with weekly and monthly payroll, including ROI
  • Assist with monthly pension schemes
  • Manage payroll journal and payment processes
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage month-end
  • Oversee financial administration

About you

  • At least 3 years payroll experience
  • Previous Accounting experience
  • Team player
  • Ability to meet deadlines
