Mechanical Fitter

Your Role
As a Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to all of our equipment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in what they do and can deliver excellent results for our customers. We operate across the UK and ROI, so travelling will be required for your role.

What you'll do
Using your skills and expertise, your tasks would involve;

• Carrying out running repairs to all our equipment including any fabrication
• Carry out all aspects of servicing
• Carrying out inspections on various equipment, both company owned and externally hired
• Correctly following COSHH and environmental regulations with oils, filters, batteries, spray canisters etc.
• Using IT to record, report and sign off service records and sheets, ensuring each has been filed correctly for each piece of equipment

What you'll bring
As a Fitter in our Plant Department, it is essential to have;

• Experience in a similar role
• Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or the ability to demonstrate time served apprenticeship in this or related area. I.E. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds
• Full Valid Driving Licence
• CSR or CPCS card or equivalent
• Computer Literacy, for example Microsoft Office
