MCS Group is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a global financial services company based in Belfast.

The Role:

As the successful Assistant Accountant you will be reporting to the Fund Accountant and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensure that the bookkeeping arising from transactions is performed
• Production of annual audited accounts
• Provide information to auditors to ensure the completion of audits
• Ensure that regulatory and statutory reporting requirements is met
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Good grounding in accounting skills
• Significant progress towards completion of professional accounting exams;
• Good presentational, written and verbal communication skills
• Open to accountancy practice or industry background;
• Strong communication skills;
