About the Role
Our client plays a vital role in facilitating new connections to the Northern Ireland transmission system and planning upgrades for the electricity grid infrastructure. Their mission is to facilitate the transition to cleaner energy whilst ensuring the continue to have a resilient electricity grid capable of meeting Northern Ireland future electricity needs.
The Networks Team is at the heart of this transformation, managing complex power system planning and high voltage customer connections to support a resilient, clean energy system for the future.

We are recruiting a Senior Connection Contracts specialist, who is s highly skilled professional to help shape the future of connections.
As Senior Connections Contracts Specialist, you will report to the Head of Networks and be responsible for preparing and managing connection contracts for strategic projects, including large-scale generation, energy storage, and demand technologies. You will work closely with customers and industry stakeholders to develop connection policies and contractual terms that align with the evolving energy landscape.
The successful candidate will:
- Degree in a business, technical, or engineering discipline, with at least 4 year's experience in contract management.
- Strong customer and commercial awareness with experience in contract management.
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with a range of internal & external stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines using a flexible approach to ensure delivery along with introducing innovative solutions to drive successful outcomes.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision making abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience in dispute resolution and negotiations using excellent guidance and influencing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
