What you'll do
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
- Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile them
- Update the cashbook daily and perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare bank lodgements and direct debit files
- Issue invoices, credit notes, and customer statements
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Monitor and manage outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely follow-up and collection
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain a record of all communication regarding payments and credit with customers
- Set up new customers and maintain the customer master file
- Provide support with various other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach
About you
If you’ve previous experience of working as an Accounts Assistant or Sales Ledger Assistant and have:
- Strong Accounts Admin experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to met deadlines
- Strong team working ability
