We are currently recruiting for a Staff Officer based in Bangor.

Duration: Until 30/06/2025 - Potential Extension
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9-5
Rate of pay: £17.94 per hour
Main Duties:
This is a new post within a new RAISE programme governance and evaluation team and the main duties and responsibilities are to:
•Collate and analyse financial monitoring data to ensure spend is progressing against profile and highlight any underspend in a timely manner.
•Collate and analyse delivery data to support the monitoring and evaluation of programme implementation and outcomes/impact including through the new online platform.
•Deliver specific procurement activities to support delivery of RAISE cross-cutting projects, communication/branding, engagement with children and young people and families, and independent evaluation of the programme.
•Deliver specific activities with regard to the delivery of grant funding for community-led projects.
•Coordinate administrative support to regular meetings of the various elements of the governance structures (Programme Board, Advisory Forum, Addressing Disadvantage Learning and Research Board etc).
•Substantial travel may be required in due course where visits to project partners in localities is required, for example, for the establishment of projects or vouching and verifying of grant payments.
Desired Experience:
Experience in any of the following:•
Monitoring and Compliance,•
Governance,•
Contract Management, or•
Procurement.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSE's at grade C and above including Maths and English, A Degree and 12 months experience
- Must completed an Access NI check
•Experience in financial recording and monitoring, verifying financial information and preparing detailed financial reports.
•Experience in computer software including Microsoft Excel.
