Drug & Alcohol Community Engagement Worker - Connections - Belfast (NI217/03/25/1v-1)
Salary: Grade 5 salary scale: £23,630 - £30,109 per annum (currently under review)
Hours: 40 standard hours (including breaks, flexibility required)
Contract Status: Permanent
Location: Belfast
About the service: Connections Workers will work closely with the Chair(s) of Belfast Drug and Alcohol Coordination Team (BDACT) and the PHA Belfast lead for drugs and alcohol in order to deliver on the aims of the local action plan which is focused on the needs of the local Community. The post is an opportunity to utilise skills such as innovation, imagination, engaging with local communities using all forms of communication, and gathering knowledge on emerging trends in alcohol and substance use with the objective of presenting these creatively to local stakeholders and regionally as required.
