Your new role
As a Financial Controller, you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring the financial health of the company. You will lead a finance/accounts team, focusing on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, cost optimisation, and compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves strategic financial planning and providing valuable insights to senior leadership for decision-making. There is the ambition to look at acquiring businesses to help the growth of the business, so you can get involved in the due diligence of potential targets.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a degree, along with a professional accounting qualification. Ideally, you will have post-qualification experience. You will have worked with senior management within the logistics industry, you'll excel in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Skills in financial software, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of IFRS/GAAP are essential.
