Hays recruitment are delighted to have been retained by a leading marine outfitting contractor, based in Newry, in their recruitment of an Estimating Manager. Operating for over 40 years, this world-renowned business has developed a unique approach to delivering projects that are the envy of its competitors. Due to continued growth, the business is now active in the market, adding an Estimating Manager to the Pre-Construction Team in Newry.

Your new role
Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director, you will be responsible for the performance of the Estimating Team, managing a team of Estimators at various levels. You will be tasked with ensuring the company remains competitive in the market, while protecting the profitability of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 10 years estimating experience, ideally from a construction or fitout background. Previous experience of managing people is essential. Due to the location of clients, you may be required to travel.
