Working within a large public organisation as a seasonal gardener within Bangor. Opportunity to extend past contracts.
Your new role
This post is initially on a temporary basis for 6 months with the possibility of an extension. The post is full-time, working 16 hours a week.
The candidate’s main duties will include:
- Patrolling the parks and allotments
- Updating and maintaining park opening signs
- Undertaking routine inspections of paths, park furniture, lighting and reporting any issues
- To lift litter, waste, rubbish and hazardous materials such as glass bottles, dog fouling etc
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks
- To undertake duties and tasks ensuring all areas are safe, clean, well-maintained and tidy for the enjoyment of beach and green space users.
Saturday and Sunday – 08.00 – 16.00Plus Working Public Holidays as required
What you'll need to succeed
• Clean and current UK driving licence
• 1 year of relevant work experience dealing with members of the public
