This company has grown into one of Ireland’s leading companies in the industry, serving both public and private sector clients across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Their expertise spans supplying and maintaining fire protection equipment alongside delivering top-tier Fire Safety Training and Risk Assessments. Now seeking to expand, the company are recruiting for a HSEQ & HR Co-Ordinator to take the lead across both company functions.
Your new role
As HSEQ & HR Co-Ordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, quality, and environmental standards remain high, while also overseeing key human resources functions. You’ll maintain policies aligned with ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001, conduct safety audits on a monthly basis, train employees on protocols, and drive compliance with local regulations. On the HR side, you’ll lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll collaborate across departments, manage audits for accreditations, and champion a positive, safe workplace.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in the role, ideally you will possess:
- A degree in HRM or a related field and/or CIPD qualification (open to those with some HR experience who are prepared to undergo a CIPD qualification).
- Knowledge of Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland safety legislation & IMS systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Advantageous if you have:
- CIPD Level 5 / 7 qualification.
- HSQE experience and/or NEBOSH certification ( or prepared to undertake the NEBOSH qualification)
