VANRATH is delighted to have partnered with a leading FMCG distributor that operates across the island. The company is seeking to add a Field Sales Representative to the team.
This is a mixture of field-based sales and office-based employment in Carrickfergus.
Salary
£34,500+ (DOE) basic, plus bonus and attendance bonus + company laptop, company phone and access to company vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Source and develop new and existing business opportunities
- Schedule and attend customer appointments
- Advise, demonstrate and recommended a variety of products to your customers across NI & ROI
- Work towards and ultimately exceed agreed sales targets as set out by Sales Manager
- Complete administrative work as required
Essential Criteria:
- Be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of sales processes
- Experience of dealing directly with the decision makers.
- A proven track record of where you exceeded sales targets.
- Ability to maintain a geographical call structure across a customer base between NI & ROI, and being flexible to spend time away from home 3/5 nights (per month)
- A standard of education of GCSE level (or equivalent), and strong IT knowledge and ability.

Desirable Criteria:
- Previous knowledge of the Pet industry
- Geographical Knowledge of NI & ROI would be beneficial
