Head of Transformation & Innovation Programme Delivery
Job Description
As an energetic and inspiring leader within the Transformation and Innovation Directorate, you will be responsible for setting up and driving the next phase of our company-wide transformation and innovation programme, propelling us towards our world-class ambition.
Simultaneously, you will successfully close out the delivery of the current Achieving Customer Excellence programme (ACE2), and its benefits.
Your success will be measured by your ability to ensure that better outcomes for Northern Ireland's society, economy, and environment are being delivered throughout the business.
This involves finding new and innovative ways to be more efficient and deliver greater value from both opex and capex spend. Additionally, you will help achieve business and regulatory imperatives such as enabling new customers to connect to an already overstressed wastewater system and reducing carbon emissions.
You will use your strong people skills and experience to guide and motivate our directorates and external resources to own the challenge of delivering the multi-year programme of transformation and innovation work, approved by our Board and Executive Committee.
You will evolve the current Programme Management Office to form and lead a Transformation Management Office (TMO), which provides a vital link between the executive led steering group of the transformation and innovation programme and the business-led delivery streams.
You will also champion continuous improvement across the organisation, including developing and managing NI Water’s internal Lean capability. Your team will guide business lines to successfully identify and deliver these initiatives.
The Head of Transformation & Innovation Programme Delivery (Band 3) will manage the Transformation Management Office (team of circa 10 direct reports) and report directly to the Director of Transformation and Innovation (Band 2).
