Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in Lisburn are looking for a Communications and Engagement Officer to join their team

Rate of pay: £17.94ph Weekly Pay

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm

Responsibilities: The postholder will contribute to organisational story-telling through the production of a broad range of online and offline communication activities, such asarticles, infographics, video, photographs and blogs for the organisational intranet, website, and other publications.

  • Contribute to production and delivery of staff engagement materials e.g. staff newsletters, surveys etc.
  • Review and develop appropriate internal communication channels and products to enhance internal engagement.
  • Contribute to the creation, implementation and delivery of internal and external communications plans.
  • Support the creation of an annual planner of publicity for organisational events, projects and initiatives throughout the year.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues to fully understand key messages, audiences and stakeholders, particularly with regards to internal audiences.
  • Support the development and delivery of organisational events and outreach activities liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and address accessibility needs of online communication products across various channels.
  • Use data and user feedback to monitor and analyse channel and platform performance and seek out improvements.
  • Contribute to evaluation reports on how communications and marketing activity is contributing to the achievement of organisational objectives

Essential Experience & Qualifications required.

A minimum of 2 years within last 5 years of contributing to successful communication, marketing or stakeholder engagement projects using a range of online and offline communication tools. A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, e.g., Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism
